Al Jabel tea is a Sri Lankan-based tea export venture founded by two parents team, connecting the heritage of Ceylon tea with the taste of the Middle Eastern market. Rooted in cross cultural experience and built with long-term intent, our work focuses on consistency, quality and market-relevant blends.
Why we do what we do
Our journey into tea began with a simple observation: while Sri Lanka’s tea is widely consumed across the Middle East, the story, structure, and care behind it are often unseen. Having lived and studied alongside Middle Eastern communities, we understood both the familiarity of Ceylon tea and the nuances of regional taste preferences.
Al Jabel Tea was formed to bridge that gap — respecting Sri Lanka’s tea heritage while shaping products that align with the everyday drinking culture of markets such as Iraq. Our approach is careful, practical, and rooted in learning the trade the right way.
